The Thomas Family

We are all doing good, I can't believe January is almost gone. Where does the time go? I can still remember my mom telling us kids how quickly time would fly when we were all grown up....we always complained about waiting for the holidays, especially Christmas, and of course our birthdays. I never believed her as a child but now that I have two children of my own, I completely understand what she was talking about.
Kaitlynn started crawling and pulling up, she is busy chasing after thatbig brother of hers that she loves so very much. Mommy and Daddy are chopped liver when he is around. I am so glad that they love each other so much. She really put TJ to the test the other day though. "She really made me mad" he told me. (she decided his alphabet book he's been practicing writing his letters in looked really yummy) Now mind you Mommy does have to go to the bathroom. I was gone no more than 2 minutes, and when I got back she had eaten a half a page and started on another. He was in tears, I know it wasn't funny at all to him, so I tried to tell him once again, this is what mommy has been warning you about....You have to put your things away because Kaitlynn can go where ever she wants to now that she can crawl. He has been faithfully putting those toys and books away, we'll see how long it takes him to forget!
It is getting late, so I better close. Take care everyone and we'll talk to you all soon!

It could get very nasty outside tonight. We might have ice on the roads tomorrow....but hey, this is Texas, you just never know. Just so our family members from ND know, we hardly ever get snow here.....usually it is just sleet, and of course the roads are usually icy, the whole town shuts down. You all from up there would think we were crazy! Schools, grocery stores, just about everything closes up shop. Of course us crazy Texans have to get out and drive on it.....Troy dreads being on the road with all us Texans that don't know how to drive on it. (He thinks he is a seasoned professional) We hope you guys are enjoying your 36 below weather....we sure don't ever want to see it get that cold here!!

Well, all is well in the Thomas household, just extremely busy these days. Kaitlynn started her first day of "school" last Monday. She is adjusting pretty well, mommy on the other hand is missing having her in the office.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and that the New Year brings blessings to you all!
