Our tomboy in pink

I just look slightly mischievous here. I couldn't possibly do anything wrong!

I forgot to mention that she can also climb. We have now retired her walker. She was climbing into it all by herself and also pulling herself out. She is our tomboy in pink I suppose. Enjoy the pictures guys and once again Happy Independence Day! Here she is with her handsome big brother. I love these two kiddos, we are so blessed!

Happy Birthday Princess Kaitlynn!

Well as you can tell we are now 1!! She can walk and feed herself, though she gets quite messy. We had a princess party but in all reality she is the queen of the house. She is growing up so fast, I can't believe a year has already passed.

Our New House

Well I think we can say that we are all settled in since we had our open house this past weekend. We are enjoying the house, the only downfall is the yard work. I guess with all the rain though it hasn't been near as hot as our typical summers in Texas. We hope that everyone enjoys their holiday today. Have a blessed 4th!

WE HAVE TEETH! Kaitlynn finally got her first tooth to break through after many months of chewing, biting, gnawing, and crankiness. Not long after her first appeared, here came number 2! We believe she is still working on a few more. Before long I am sure she will have a mouthful. Believe me, the first time she chomped down on me it did hurt, even though it was only one tooth. She enjoys watching daddy, mommy, and her brother raising our eye brows....she thinks it is quite amusing. She also loves watching her brother hop up and down like a frog towards her.....this gets her really excited and turns her into a little giggle box.

TJ is getting ready to turn 5 next month. He has big plans for a movie Cars birthday party. He about refuses to wear anything other than "Cars". We have the of course the movie, underwear, pajamas, t-shirts, shoes, outfits, watches, backpacks, sheets, wall stickers, comforter, tattoos, toys....if they make it, we either have it or are looking for it!! Of course we went through this a few years ago with Buzz Lightyear....it wasn't quite as bad since he was too little to want everything in sight. He is going to have a really hard time when he starts school in the fall....they have uniforms! I am thinking I can use...."It's red like Lightning" to get him to wear the uniform shirt. He can wear a few other colors too but I am thinking that he is probably going to only want red...we will cross that bridge when we get there. As you can in TJ's picture, this is one of the few times we convinced him to wear something other than "Cars"!
Until next time!

We are all doing good, I can't believe January is almost gone. Where does the time go? I can still remember my mom telling us kids how quickly time would fly when we were all grown up....we always complained about waiting for the holidays, especially Christmas, and of course our birthdays. I never believed her as a child but now that I have two children of my own, I completely understand what she was talking about.
Kaitlynn started crawling and pulling up, she is busy chasing after thatbig brother of hers that she loves so very much. Mommy and Daddy are chopped liver when he is around. I am so glad that they love each other so much. She really put TJ to the test the other day though. "She really made me mad" he told me. (she decided his alphabet book he's been practicing writing his letters in looked really yummy) Now mind you Mommy does have to go to the bathroom. I was gone no more than 2 minutes, and when I got back she had eaten a half a page and started on another. He was in tears, I know it wasn't funny at all to him, so I tried to tell him once again, this is what mommy has been warning you about....You have to put your things away because Kaitlynn can go where ever she wants to now that she can crawl. He has been faithfully putting those toys and books away, we'll see how long it takes him to forget!
It is getting late, so I better close. Take care everyone and we'll talk to you all soon!

It could get very nasty outside tonight. We might have ice on the roads tomorrow....but hey, this is Texas, you just never know. Just so our family members from ND know, we hardly ever get snow here.....usually it is just sleet, and of course the roads are usually icy, the whole town shuts down. You all from up there would think we were crazy! Schools, grocery stores, just about everything closes up shop. Of course us crazy Texans have to get out and drive on it.....Troy dreads being on the road with all us Texans that don't know how to drive on it. (He thinks he is a seasoned professional) We hope you guys are enjoying your 36 below weather....we sure don't ever want to see it get that cold here!!
